The European Union has established 5 EU Missions under the Horizon Europe (2021–2027) programme to tackle major societal challenges, with ambitious goals set for 2030. These Missions aim to deliver tangible benefits to Europeans through coordinated efforts across policies, regulations, and activities.
GLIOMATCH is part of the Cancer Mission which aims to improve the lives of over 3 million people by 2030 through collaborative advances in cancer research. The Mission brings together over 50 EU-funded projects, organised into thematic Clusters aligned with the Mission’s four key objectives:
Understanding cancer
Prevention and early detection
Diagnosis and treatment
Quality of life
These Clusters foster collaboration, joint activities, and engagement with patients and citizens to reduce inequalities and improve care access. Explore the interactive project landscape map below to see what Clusters are grouped within each objective. Click on the information icon for details on the individual projects under each Cluster.
