The Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu is a research and innovation center in biomedicine. It was created in 2015 through a collaboration agreement between the San Joan de Déu Barcelona Children’s Hospital, the Universitat de Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and the Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu

Sant Joan De Déu Barcelona Hospital (HSJD)

The San Joan de Déu Barcelona Children’s Hospital is a private non-profit institution with a vocation for public service. The Paediatric Cancer Centre Barcelona of HSJD one of Europe’s largest paediatric oncology centres. Its capacity is to attend 400 new patients a year, and will feature cutting-edge technologies in the fight against cancer.
