On 28–29 April 2026, the GLIOMATCH consortium gathered in Barcelona, Spain, for its fifth consortium meeting, hosted by project partner Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children’s Hospital and the Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu (FSJD).

GLIOMATCH joined partners of the Understanding (tumour-host interactions) Cluster – an initiative of the EU’s Cancer Mission – in Warsaw in March 2026 to review scientific progress, strengthen collaboration and advance joint work on data management and policy-relevant research.

Results from GLIOMATCH are supporting the newly funded EIC Transition project GLIOBREAK, coordinated by Beactica Therapeutics and with the involvement of KU Leuven. The project will advance BEA-17, a first-in-class LSD1–CoREST degrader, towards clinical readiness, including IND-enabling studies and regulatory submission.
